ArmInfo. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of pothole repair work. During a working meeting at the Mayor's Office on April 6, he noted that work is slowing down, as crews returned to standard working hours, compared to the unprecedented pace of work in February of this year. "This cannot be the case," he emphasized.
The mayor noted that he does not intend to be lenient towards such approaches, as city residents are not prepared to empathize or accept excuses. "Let's make it a rule: when it comes to asphalt paving, especially when it comes to pothole repair, there are no New Year's, no Easter, no days off. There is nothing but the work," Avinyan said.
It should be noted that, according to the Department of Construction and Improvement at the Yerevan Municipality, the area of pothole repair work on roads in the city has reached 57 square kilometers.
