If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, the majority of respondents-22%-would vote for the ruling "Civil Contract" party, according to survey results conducted by the "Free Sociology" civic initiative, which Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan shared on his Facebook page.
The poll also revealed that if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, votes at the national level would be distributed as follows: 22% for the "Civil Contract" party, 14% for Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" party, 10% for Prosperous Armenia, and 7% for the "Armenia" bloc of second President Robert Kocharyan.
"The poll showed the most positive attitude towards Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party with 21%, followed by Samvel Karapetyan, the chairman of the "Strong Armenia" party, with 17%, and Nikol Pashinyan, the leader of the ruling "Civil Contract" party and Prime Minister, with 12%," Tsarukyan concluded.
