


ArmInfo. Turkmenistan hosted a series of cultural and educational events celebrating International Francophonie Month, with the participation of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Turkmenistan.
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Turkmenistan, on April 3, the French Institute in Turkmenistan, in partnership with the Armenian diplomatic mission in the country, hosted a screening of the Armenian feature film "We and Our Mountains." The screening was part of the Francophonie program, aimed at developing cultural dialogue and strengthening interstate ties.
The film was presented in Armenian with French subtitles. Directed by Henrik Malyan and written by Grant Matevosyan, the film is one of the landmark works of Armenian cinema and has generated great interest among audiences. The Francophonie program also includes screenings of two more Armenian films: "Autumn Sun" by director Bagrat Hovhannisyan, which will be shown on May 5, and "Labyrinth" by director Mikael Dovlatyan, which will be shown on May 26.
Furthermore, on April 4, the closing ceremony of the International Francophonie Month was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during which the results of a series of cultural and educational events were summarized. The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Turkmenistan, as usual, participated in the awards ceremony for the winners of the competition, recognizing their achievements with a commemorative gift.
