ArmInfo. Russia will request maximum observance of the ceasefire from all parties, including Israel and the United States, during the evacuation of personnel from the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant. Rosatom Director General Alexei Likhachev told reporters on the sidelines of the International Transport and Logistics Forum, as reported by Interfax.
The evacuation is being carried out through Armenian territory. "Naturally, the travel routes will be shared with the competent authorities in Israel and the United States through all available channels. We will request full compliance with the ceasefire during the movement of the convoys. I would like to express my thanks once more to the government of Iran, our partners-the Iranian nuclear scientists-and to the government of Armenia for the previous evacuations, as we facilitated this work across the Iranian- Armenian border," the head of Rosatom said.
Likhachev did not provide a specific date for the next wave of evacuations. "Every hour counts. I don't want to give specific dates right now. Much depends on the specific military and political situation in the region. Any events could either delay or advance this evacuation. But I repeat, everything is measured in hours, not days," Likhachev emphasized.
