


ArmInfo. On April 2, consultations were held in Moscow between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Russia on their countries' current foreign policy agendas in Africa.
The meeting was chaired by Levon Petrosyan, Acting Head of the Middle East and Africa Department at the Armenian Foreign Ministry, and Tatyana Dovgalenko, Head of the Department for Partnership with Africa at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
As reported to ArmInfo by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the discussion focused on the prospects for developing cooperation with African states, the African Union, and other regional organizations, expanding trade and economic ties with African countries, and strengthening humanitarian cooperation. The situation in Africa and security issues were also discussed.
