Armenian police officers could take retraining courses at Qatar Cyber  Academy

ArmInfo.  Armenia is one of the safest countries in the world.  Qatari Ambassador to Armenia Mansour Abdullah Al-Sulaitini stated this during a meeting with RA Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,  congratulating the diplomat on his appointment, Arpine Sargsyan  expressed confidence that during his tenure, cooperation between the  interior ministries of the two countries will yield new results.

The ambassador emphasized that he feels safe in Armenia. Particular  attention was paid to the fact that the Republic of Armenia and the  State of Qatar, according to various international rankings, are  consistently ranked among the safest countries in the world, which is  an important basis for expanding cooperation in the field of internal  security. During the meeting, prospects for cooperation in ensuring  security during mass events, disaster risk management, and resilience  building were discussed, as well as the mutual recognition of  driver's licenses.

The training of personnel within the Ministry of Internal Affairs  system was also discussed. In this context, special attention was  paid to the professional training opportunities for Armenian police  officers at the Qatar Cyber Academy.

The parties confirmed their readiness to expand cooperation in  various areas.
