Armenia`s fate will be decided either in Yerevan or Baku - expert 

ArmInfo.  Where will Armenia's fate be decided? This question was posed by political scientist and member of the Alternative Projects group, Vahe Hovhannisyan.

In his article, he notes that, when answering this question, it is  very easy to say from the capital of some distant country, be it  Moscow, Washington, Brussels, or any other non-Armenian city, that  the June 7 elections will determine the fate of the Caucasus, the  degree of influence of this or that superpower, etc.  This, the  political scientist believes, is an extremely dangerous approach, to  which the leading powers must respond harshly. "Armenia must not be  made a stumbling block in foreign games, and in today's dangerous  situation, we must not turn into a geopolitical toy. The June 7  elections are purely internal Armenian elections. As a result of  these elections, we must restore internal balance in our country,  bring reason back to the state system, create new rules of internal  solidarity and coexistence, achieve guaranteed peace, and set the  country on a path to development. These are the goals of these  elections," Vahe Hovhannisyan emphasized.

He added that Armenia's fate is not decided in Moscow, Washington,  Brussels, or anywhere else. "If we truly want clarity, then Armenia's  fate will be decided either in Yerevan or Baku. And the June 7  elections are dedicated precisely to this," the political scientist  emphasized.

As a reminder, parliamentary elections will be held in the country on  June 7.
