No appeals against the vote results were received within the established deadline. "I express my gratitude to all members of the Counting Commission, headed by Commission Chairman Hakob Arshakyan, for organizing both stages of closed and secret voting at a high level and, in principle, flawlessly. I thank all my party comrades for the trust they have placed in me, for leading the Civil Contract Party's electoral list and for the honor of becoming a candidate for Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. I express my gratitude to the Board of the Civil Contract Party for their loyalty to the party's political traditions and for setting new political standards in the Republic of Armenia. "I love you all," he wrote. It should be noted that the next parliamentary elections are scheduled for June 7, 2026. Armenia is a parliamentary republic. The political force that receives the majority in parliament as a result of the elections will have the right to elect the Prime Minister of the Republic.
The following have already announced their participation in the elections: the ruling Civil Contract Party (Prime Ministerial candidate Nikol Pashinyan); Strong Armenia (Prime Ministerial candidate - businessman Samvel Karapetyan, is under house arrest for calling for the seizure of power); Prosperous Armenia (the candidate for prime minister has not yet been announced, the party leader is businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, who previously stated that he is not running for this post); Armenian National Congress (candidate for prime minister is Levon Zurabyan); Republic (candidate for prime minister is former prime minister Aram Sargsyan); Wings of Unity political initiative (candidate for prime minister is former ombudsman Arman Tatoyan); DOK party (candidate for prime minister is blogger Vardan Ghukasyan, is in an American prison); the I Am Against Everyone movement (has not yet announced the name of its candidate for prime minister). The Republican Party of Armenia, headed by former President Serzh Sargsyan, has not yet decided whether to participate in the elections. The Homeland Party, led by the former director of National Security Service chief Artur Vanetsyan has decided not to participate in the elections.
