ArmInfo. The license of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC will remain suspended. Vardan Aloyan, a lawyer representing the interests of Tashir Capital, wrote on his Facebook page.
"The court rejected our claim against the suspension of the license of the Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA), which means that the license of ENA will remain suspended," the lawyer noted.
Recall, the PSRC, in its politically motivated decision on November 17, 2025, revoked ENA's electricity transmission license. Romanos Petrosyan, interim manager of ENA and board member of the ruling Civil Contract party, stated that the state is preparing for the full nationalization of ENA's shares, recognizing it as a priority public interest. According to him, the state is willing to pay compensation to the owner, Tashir Capital. However, the interim manager declined to disclose the specific value of ENA or the price proposed by the government.
Meanwhile, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had stated that the price of the company could be reduced under certain circumstances. Meanwhile, David Ghazinyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party board and former ENA CEO, stated that the real value of Electric Networks of Armenia is close to $1 billion, and the company's owners, represented by Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the opposition Strong Armenia party and a prominent businessman and philanthropist, would not agree to sell it at a reduced price.
