"New Era"  party to participate in  upcoming parliamentary elections  in Armenia

ArmInfo. The "New Era" party has announced its participation in the upcoming parliamentary  elections scheduled for June 7, 2026.

As lawyer Harutyun Harutyunyan reported on his Facebook page, the  decision was made at the party's extraordinary congress. He also  informed that following the congress, he was elected as chairman of  the political party. "We, along with our fellow lawyers, have been  contemplating the future of our state for quite some time and have  decided to take on great responsibility. 

The goal of our party and all its members is to establish a  sovereign, free, and legally based state by strengthening an  independent and impartial judicial system that excludes any  interference with legal security and legal certainty," Harutyunyan  wrote. He also mentioned that the party consists of lawyers,  attorneys, political scientists, mathematicians, and other  specialists willing to participate in political processes, leveraging  their abilities, knowledge, and experience. Speaking about the  party's participation format, the lawyer noted that they are holding  political consultations and meetings with extra-parliamentary forces  and will soon issue a statement outlining their stance.
