ArmInfo. The vote is essentially secret, but our party's leader is Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and naturally, Nikol Pashinyan is the unequivocal and 100% prime minister candidate from the Civil Contract party. Civil Contract faction secretary Artur Hovhannisyan told reporters this on March 27 before the start of the extraordinary congress of the Civil Contract party.
When asked whether an alternative to Pashinyan or another scenario within "Plan B" was being considered, Hovhannisyan stated that Armenia is not a monarchy to consider a successor. At the same time, he added, all conditions for honest and fair political competition have been created within the Civil Contract party.
