


ArmInfo. A ceremony honoring Armenian activists and educators for their significant contribution to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties between Russia and Armenia was held at the Russian Embassy in Yerevan.
Speaking at the event, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin emphasized that each award is a testament to Russia's profound gratitude to individuals who have dedicated their lives to serving humanitarian ideals, strengthening cultural ties between the two countries, and preserving shared historical memory.
Nina Tatkalo, Director of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communications at the Russian- Armenian University, was awarded the Pushkin Medal for her significant contribution to the dissemination of the Russian language, the rapprochement, and mutual enrichment of cultures.
Mher Avetisyan, General Coordinator of the Immortal Regiment movement, was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the President of the Russian Federation for his services in preserving shared historical memory.
A group of Russian language teachers, whose daily work introduces new generations of Armenian youth to the Russian language and culture, received commendations from the President of the Russian Federation. A total of 10 Russian language teachers and activists from Armenia received awards from the President of the Russian Federation.
