ArmInfo. Armenia is open to transferring the concession management of its railway system to Kazakhstan-provided that Russia, the current stakeholder, approves the move.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement during a press-briefing, in response to the request from ArmInfo about opposition MP Garnik Danielyan's earlier statement about the possible transfer of the concession to Kazakhstan.
He noted that there have been no substantive discussions on this matter, as Russia has not yet given its consent. "Discussions are still at the idea stage," the prime minister said.
At the same time, the head of government emphasized that there are no deadlines for implementing this issue, but it cannot be postponed indefinitely.
