


ArmInfo.The Armenia-EU Summit will concentrate on enhancing bilateral relations, with a particular focus on economics, energy, transport, digital technologies, and people-to-people contacts, as noted in a statement issued by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry recalled that the first-ever Armenia-EU Summit will be held in Yerevan on May 4 and 5, 2026. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will represent the Republic of Armenia, and the European Union will be represented by European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The Armenian Foreign Ministry emphasized that, ahead of the summit, Presidents Costa and von der Leyen will also participate in the 8th European Political Community Summit in Yerevan on May 4, 2026. "The leaders will also discuss progress in ensuring peace, security, transport infrastructure, and prosperity in the South Caucasus, as well as current global challenges," the Armenian Foreign Ministry added.
