"No shame in taking the lead"-|Pashinyan on seeking a meeting with  Putin 

ArmInfo. "As Prime Minister of Armenia, I understand what Russia, the US, France, Germany, and the EU are like, and, as a rule, I initiate meetings with them," as stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan  during a press briefing, when asked by ArmInfo whether he had ever requested a meeting with the Russian president, including before the elections.

The Prime Minister called it normal that he usually requests a  meeting, and not the other way around. "And that's normal-I don't see  anything shameful or derogatory in that. I don't recall any meetings  being held at the initiative of the other side. To think otherwise is  to lose a sense of reality... I request these meetings to discuss  issues affecting the interests of our country," the prime minister  clarified.
