
ArmInfo. The Armenian delegation, led by Aram Ghazaryan, Director of the Rescue Service and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, participated in a board meeting of the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response in Moscow.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vyacheslav Butko, Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and co-chairman of the Center's board, participated in the meeting on the Russian side.
During the meeting, the list of rescue equipment provided free of charge for permanent use to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' rescue service, was clarified as part of the response. The parties emphasized that the measures being implemented aim to technically upgrade fire and rescue units and enhance their ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
According to the source, particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation with volunteer organizations. The delegation representatives expressed confidence that the decisions made will contribute to the stable and effective operation of the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center this year.
During the visit, the Armenian delegation also learned about the activities of the National Crisis Management Center at the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. They also visited the "Leader" Center for Specialized Emergency Response and the State Fire Service at the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, where they were presented with approaches to training specialists, technical equipment, and the organization of rescue operations.
