Blogger Mario Naufal reveals details of his interview with Narek  Karapetyan

ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the board of the Strong Armenia party, gave an interview to American businessman and blogger Mario Naufal, during which he described the situation within Armenia amid the Middle East crisis. Naufal himself reported this on his Twitter page X, presenting the  main points and excerpts from the interview with Karapetyan.

"Narek Karapetyan is an opposition leader who says things that most  diplomats dare not say," the American blogger noted.

During the conversation with Karapetyan, he noted that Armenia, a  strategically important country, is on the brink of a potential  conflict, yet is not receiving the attention it deserves. In this  regard, as Naufal noted, the interlocutors discussed the situation  surrounding Iran.

According to Naufal, Karapetyan stated that "Armenia is located near  the Iranian border, as are Azerbaijan and Turkey, while Russia is  located just to the north. If this war destabilizes Iran, the South  Caucasus will instantly become the next crisis zone. Iran's collapse  will not be like Iraq's collapse. It will be four times worse: more  ethnic minorities, more separatist movements, more refugees, and a  disrupted supply chain from Central Asia to Europe."

During the conversation, as Naufal noted, it was also mentioned that  US President Donald Trump had quietly established a "trade corridor"  (Trump route, TRIPP - ed.) through Armenia, which completely bypasses  Iran. "A deal that seemed pointless six months ago now appears doomed  to failure. And in the midst of all this, Armenian Prime Minister  Nikol Pashinyan is jailing opposition leaders and attacking the  Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), while drug crime in the country has  increased fivefold," Naufal quoted from an interview with Karapetyan.

He also added that Karapetyan expects his arrest within a month due  to the current situation in the country.
