ArmInfo. No "apologies," no belated spectacles or staging will save the authorities. Ishkhan Saghatelyan, Supreme Representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party and a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the opposition "Armenia" faction, wrote this on his Facebook page.
Yesterday, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan apologized to a woman with whom he had a confrontation on the subway over Nagorno-Karabakh. He published the apology on his Facebook page. "Dear Ms. Mosiyan, I apologize to you and your son for those emotions and hope that there will be an opportunity to meet again on the subway or somewhere else and have a calm conversation. I would like this conversation to take place," the politician stated live on air.
He added that he said some phrases "with the wrong gestures, tone, and facial expression." The altercation occurred when Pashinyan was on the Yerevan metro. There, he had a confrontation with a passenger who accused him of surrendering Nagorno-Karabakh. The woman asked the politician not to raise his voice, but he replied that he would "talk like that."
In this regard, Ishkhan Saghatelyan stated that Nikol Pashinyan has long since crossed all moral and political red lines. "The insolence you've shown is the true face of your regime. Your 'repentance' is fake, and your goal is one: to avoid responsibility. But you won't succeed. For your crimes, for consistently leading the country to destruction, you will answer before an Armenian court with the full force of the law. So you better prepare for your encounter with justice," the Dashnaktsakan wrote.
