


ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Martha Kos.
According to the PM's office, Pashinyan welcomed Kos's visit to Armenia, and noted that it was a good opportunity to discuss the rich agenda of Armenia-EU cooperation, which consistently continues to expand.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the Armenian government's commitment to continuing democratic reforms, strengthening the rule of law, and developing institutional capacity.
In turn, Martha Kos noted that the EU highly values reforms being implemented and the political will demonstrated by Armenia in this regard. She emphasized that the EU will continue to support Armenia, particularly its reform agenda, Armenian civil society, and the media. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed progress of the RA-EU cooperation agenda, the opportunities for expanding economic and investment programs, as well as the visa liberalization process.
Regional developments and steps taken to establish peace were also touched upon. Marta Kos emphasized the EU's full support for the RA government's efforts to establish peace. The parties emphasized the importance of continuous high-level dialogue and the consistency of joint efforts towards deepening cooperation between Armenia and the EU.
