Armenia, Oman discuss the possibility of launching direct flights

ArmInfo.Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Omani Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology Saeed bin Hamoud Al- Mawali discussed the development of aviation and transport  infrastructure,  emphasizing their willingnes to facilitate the launch of a direct flight between Yerevan and Muscat.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the  meeting took place during Mirzoyan's working visit to Oman. Mirzoyan  emphasized that while the main purpose of the visit was the official  opening of the Armenian Embassy in Muscat, it was also a good  opportunity to hold industry meetings.

In the context of Armenia's vision for developing regional transport  infrastructure, Mirzoyan presented the government's "Crossroads of  Peace" initiative, highlighting Yerevan's interest in regional  stability and the development of a dynamic economic partnership.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the potential of sharing  best practices in information technology, digitalization, innovative  education, and artificial intelligence.
