ArmInfo. Armenia's political life should not become a platform for geopolitical confrontation, says Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP).
"Today, I would like to present several key principles of our election program, as well as our vision for Armenia's future, as an invitation to an open and meaningful dialogue with our international partners and the diplomatic corps accredited in Armenia," Tsarukyan wrote in a Facebook post.
The politician stated that the upcoming political processes and elections are not a geopolitical choice between powerful centers. Tsarukyan is confident that this is a competition of ideas, programs, and approaches to state development, which must take place within the framework of constitutional and democratic procedures. "The country's political life should not turn into a site of geopolitical confrontation.
Furthermore, all internal changes must be implemented through constitutional procedures. We are convinced that strengthening the legitimacy and predictability of political processes is the foundation of state stability and public trust.
We will soon present our foreign policy concept, which will clearly outline how Armenia intends to restore balance, reliability, and stability in its relations with partners," Tsarukyan added.
He added that the principle of restoring strategic and predictable balance underlies his political force's foreign policy strategy. The politician assured that Armenia will build partnerships with all key international players-Russia, the United States, the European Union, China, India, and neighboring states.
"For us, this is a systemic strategy for strengthening reliability and predictability in international relations. Armenia must become a country open to investment, infrastructure projects, and new opportunities. We see significant potential in developing regional transport hubs and communication routes, which could strengthen Armenia's role as a link between economic spaces. At the same time, it is necessary to develop a technological economy, support innovation, and develop digital infrastructure and new industries.
Investments, infrastructure projects, and technological development not only ensure economic growth but also create the foundation for long-term stability and regional influence," he continued.
Tsarukyan expressed confidence that consistent and constructive dialogue with international partners allows us to integrate foreign policy, economic strategy, and institutional development into a single, interconnected vision. "The issue of security and peace has deep historical roots for the Armenian people. Our primary goal is to establish a guaranteed and just peace. Armenians around the world have always made a significant contribution to the development of the countries in which they live. Today, we propose an approach that views the Diaspora's potential not only as a resource but also as a factor in expanding Armenia's strategic depth. We plan to engage the Diaspora in economic, technological, scientific, and cultural projects, which will contribute to strengthening Armenia's resilience and its role on the international stage. Our goal is to create a modern network of cooperation among Armenians living around the world. We are convinced that Armenia can become a natural bridge between various countries and regions, using the global presence of the Armenian people as a tool for strategic depth," the politician noted.
The PAP leader emphasized that his team today brings together specialists with experience in public administration and international cooperation, professionals capable of making informed decisions for the benefit of the country's development and protecting the interests of the people.
Tsarukyan noted that his team's goal is to build a stable, secure, and developing Armenia-a state that strengthens its institutions, whose foreign policy restores strategic balance, and fully unlocks the potential of its people.
"We see Armenia as a country that connects regions and creates opportunities for cooperation," the politician concluded.
