


ArmInfo. During a meeting with the newly appointed Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Nikola Nikolov, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation will continue to develop and expand during his tenure.
According to the government press service, Pashinyan noted that bilateral relations have been dynamic in recent years, with high-level political dialogue established. He also emphasized Bulgaria's support for strengthening Armenia's cooperation with the European Union.
Nikola Nikolov expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that Armenia is one of Bulgaria's important partners in the South Caucasus. His country highly values the consistent development of ties in various fields. The Bulgarian diplomat emphasized the need to give a new impetus to the development of trade and economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the energy, tourism, and transport sectors. Nikola Nikolov also expressed Bulgaria's support for the government's "Crossroads of Peace" initiative.
The interlocutors exchanged views on cooperation in the aforementioned areas, as well as in education and culture. They also touched on issues related to peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and regional cooperation.
