Lawyer: Appeals Court rules "Izmirlyan" searches unlawful

The Armenian Criminal Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Armen Bektashyan,  has found a violation of the right to privacy in the case of the Izmirlyan Medical Center, specifically in the apartment of the chief accountant Anahit Yolyan, as reported by lawyer Armine Fanyan on her  Facebook page.

According to Fanyanr, the Criminal Court of Appeals has deemed all  four decisions of the court of first instance authorizing the search  of the Izmirlyan Medical Center to be illegal. "The search conducted  had infringed upon the privacy rights of the apartment of Izmirlyan  Medical Center Executive Director Armen Charchyan, Deputy Director of  Finance Vagharshak Meiroyan, Deputy Director of Medical Affairs  Tigran Nalbandyan, and Chief Accountant Anahit Yolyan," the lawyer  concluded.
