


ArmInfo. In New York, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan met with Alexander De Croo, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
According to the MFA press service, the parties expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation between Armenia and UNDP, emphasizing the significance of joint work between the Armenian government and the UNDP office in Armenia. They noted that their combined efforts have resulted in the adoption of the country's Program Document for 2026-2030.
Furthermore, Abisoghomonyan and De Croo exchanged views on the UN reform process, emphasizing its importance for a more effective, coordinated, and results-oriented UN operation. According to the source, the interlocutors also discussed preparations for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Biodiversity (COP17). Abisoghomonyan presented Armenia's vision for these processes and emphasized the importance of UNDP involvement in climate and biodiversity issues.
