


ArmInfo. The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted the Prosecutor General's Office's claim to confiscate illegally obtained property from Karen Avdalyan, Director of AQUILA TECHNICS LLC, and an associated individual for review.
According to the supervisory authority, the prosecutor is requesting the confiscation of the following in favor of the Republic of Armenia of: two real estate properties, one located in Yerevan and the other in the Ararat region, seven movable properties, one share in a legal entity, 151,484,000 drams as the remaining illegally obtained funds, and 27,549,000 drams, not confirmed by the person's legal income, of illegal origin, transferred to a bona fide purchaser, or not subject to identification and confiscation.
Recall, Aquila Technics LLC, a part of the Aquila Group and based at Zvartnots International Airport, became the first Armenian company to provide aircraft maintenance services in 2014. The company's goal is to provide technical support to Armenia's civil aviation fleet (including the presidential aircraft and Air Armenia) on a contractual basis.
