Russian personnel from Iran`s Bushehr NPP evacuated to Russia via  Armenia

ArmInfo.The second stage of  evacuating Russian personnel and their families from Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant was completed on Wednesday night; 150 people are now en route to Russia via Armenia. According to RIA  Novosti, Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev made this announcement.

"Last night, we completed another phase of  evacuating our employees.  150 people left the Bushehr station several days ago and crossed the  border into Armenia overnight. They are now on en route to our  country.  This is the second stage, the second level of evacuation,"  Likhachev told reporters. He expressed gratitude to the Russian  Foreign Ministry, Russian security agencies, and the leadership of  Iran and Armenia for coordinating and executing this evacuation.
