


ArmInfo. In 2025, investigators of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Armenia investigated 464 criminal cases involving crimes committed by minors, 20 more than in 2024.
According to the investigative body's press service, 158 of these cases remain from 2024.
In 2025, 80 out of 464 criminal cases were transferred to court with the presentation of an indictment against 92 minors (in 2024 - 60 criminal cases against 78 people), 1 case was completed with a final act and transferred to court, 177 cases were terminated (in 2024 - 163), of which 119 - on the basis of rehabilitation (in 2024 - 67), and 58 - on a non-rehabilitation basis (in 2024 - 96), 5 criminal cases were transferred to another body (in 2024 - 4), 35 were combined (in 2024 - 27), 30 cases were recognized as procedurally completed (in 2024 - 45), 136 were postponed to 2026 (In 2025, 145).
Of the 78 criminal cases referred to court, 5 were investigated for murder, 1 for preparation of murder, 2 for attempted murder, 11 for causing grievous bodily harm, 4 for sexual promiscuity, 7 for robbery, 1 for theft, 2 for extortion, 7 for hooliganism, 12 for illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition, 6 for illegal drug trafficking, and 20 for other crimes. In 2025, 62 petitions were filed in criminal proceedings involving crimes committed by minors.
