ArmInfo.Even without sociological surveys, it's obvious to everyone that the Our Way movement, led by a businessman and a philanthropist, is the vanguard of the opposition movement in Armenia today. This was stated at a press conference on March 9 by Hovik Agazaryan, leader of the United National Constitutional Party and member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to him, the movement represents a serious alternative to all political forces in the country. However, in this case, two scenarios are possible. The first, which is hard to believe, is that RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hands over power to Samvel Karapetyan. In this case, Pashinyan, according to Agazaryan, will become one of the most influential figures in human history. According to the second scenario, the MP continued, Pashinyan would observe the rise of Our Way and, at the last minute, during the peak of the election campaign, after registration, withdraw it from the race, thereby repeating the Moldovan version of the election. This could happen between May 15 and 20. In the second scenario, public apathy would set in, and the minimum number of citizens would go to the polls, which Pashinyan would take advantage of, receiving approximately 70% of the vote. In such a scenario, all political parties and blocs would have to form a united front against the current government.
