Iran  has prepared itself for a long war

ArmInfo.Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, commented on statements made in Washington  about  a possible  invasion of Iranian territory  in a post on  X.

"The sacred land of Iran is no place for the servants of hell," he  wrote. "Some American officials have stated that they intend to enter  Iranian territory on the ground with several thousand troops. The  valiant sons of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei are waiting for you,  ready to disgrace those corrupt American officials by killing and   capturing thousands," Larijani added.  Earlier, White House Press  Secretary Karoline Leavitt did not rule out the possibility of a US  ground operation in Iran, but noted that there are currently no such  plans.
