ArmInfo. EU countries risk ending up on the "wrong side of history" if they join the US and Israel in their actions, according to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei.
"Some EU members risk ending up on the wrong side of history if they are implicated in US and Israeli acts of aggression and war crimes against the Iranian nation," Baghaei wrote on the social media platform X.
The day before, Iran called on European countries to refrain from participating in the joint Israeli-US operation against Tehran.
"Any such action [by the European Union] against the Islamic Republic will be considered an alliance [with Israel and the US]. It will be considered an act of war against Iran," the official statement stated.
Earlier, the British, German, and French governments stated their readiness to use military force if Iran does not cease its "indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks" against their allies in the Middle East.
