ArmInfo. A new Azerbaijani invasion has been recorded on Armenia's sovereign territory, about which the Armenian authorities have not informed the public, as reported by Arman Tatoyan, head of the "Wings of Unity" political initiative, on his Facebook page.
Specifically, he reported that, according to available information, they have deployed combat positions in Vardenis, as well as points for small arms, mortars, and other large-caliber weapons. "Communications have been established, the Sotk gold mine in the Vardenis community is under direct attack, solar panels have been installed, operational-tactical and strategic roads have been constructed, and shelters have been built through which it's possible to penetrate deep into Armenian territory," the political initiative's leader added.
A similar situation, according to Tatoyan, is observed in Jermuk, where positions designed for mortars have been built. In this regard, he rhetorically asked why Azerbaijan, supposedly preparing for peace with Armenia, is rushing to build these positions before signing a peace treaty if, as the authorities claim, it has no other goal. "Against the backdrop of these events, as Azerbaijan strengthens its position in practice, it becomes clear that the authorities' declared border delimitation, which would supposedly require Azerbaijani armed forces to withdraw from their deployment sites, is a lie. The ruling Civil Contract Party, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, is threatening our country's security. Take your hearts and kisses and step aside to make way for people who are capable of solving problems and know how to do so," Tatoyan concluded.
