A book of condolences will be opened at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan on March 4 and 5 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and elementary school students in Minab, as announced by the Iranian Embassy in Armenia.
Heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia, as well as ordinary citizens have expressed their condolences to the Iranian side. According to the Russian Embassy in Armenia, on March 4, Ambassador Sergei Kopyrkin visited the Iranian Embassy and signed a condolence book opened in connection with the assassination of Supreme Leader Seyed Ali Khamenei, members of his family, and numerous other civilian casualties due to an unprovoked act of armed aggression by the United States and Israel.
"The head of the Russian diplomatic mission has expressed his sincere sympathy and support to Iranian diplomats and all the people of friendly Iran," the Russian Embassy's statement reads.
Inessa Kudruk, Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia, also visited the Iranian Embassy. According to the Belarusian Embassy in Armenia, Kudruk signed a book of condolence at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Armenia in connection with the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and numerous Iranian civilian casualties during the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
"In this time of sorrow, we express our sincere condolences and support. We share the pain of loss and express solidarity with Iran at this difficult time," Kudruk wrote.
For the third day in a row, citizens have been bringing flowers, wreaths, and toys to the Iranian Embassy in Armenia in solidarity with the friendly Iranian people in the face of American-Israeli aggression.
