
ArmInfo.Artur Poghosyan, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, met with Nilakshi Saha Sinha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia.
According to the investigative body's press service, the meeting was also attended by 15 Investigative Committee investigators who completed the "Anti-Money Laundering, Digital Intelligence, and Cryptocurrency" course at the National Forensic Science University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from February 16 to 27, 2026, as part of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee highlighted the knowledge and skills acquired by the participants as a result of the training, particularly in the areas of anti-money laundering, digital intelligence, and the detection of cryptocurrency-related crimes, calling this an important contribution to the development of the Investigative Committee's capacity.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the opportunity to personally meet with the investigators who participated in the training and hear their opinions and impressions.
Highly appreciating India's support, as well as the Ambassador's personal involvement and contribution to the development of Armenian-Indian cooperation in law enforcement, Artur Poghosyan awarded Nilakshi Sakha Sinha the Investigative Committee's "Honorary Partner" medal.
The Investigative Committee recalled that an agreement to organize training sessions to enhance professional skills and exchange experience was reached during a meeting between Artur Poghosyan and Nilakshi Sakha Sinha on July 23, 2025.
