According to the provided information, 31 citizens have crossed the Iran-Armenain border at the moment. "There are no issues," the diplomatic mission noted.
Recall, earlier, in connection with the escalation in the Middle East, the Russian Embassy issued a statement indicating that Russian citizens could return from Iran to Russia through Armenia.
Currently, the Nurduz-Agarak border crossing point on the Armenian-Iranian border is operational 24/7. The border between Iran and Armenia is open to Russian citizens, who can pass through with valid international or domestic passports. No advance notice is required. After crossing the border, we recommend proceeding towards Yerevan or Gyumri, which have direct flights to Russian cities," the embassy's statement reads.
