ArmInfo. The impeachment of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has never been dormant; it is the number one issue for the Republican Party, as stated by Hayk Mamijanyan, head of the parliamentary faction of the "With Honor" bloc, along with RPA, to reporters on March 3.
According to him, in the last year of parliament, this issue has been actively pursued by for the opposition in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. The unified candidate for prime minister from these same opposition forces is former Masis mayor and political prisoner David Hambardzumyan.
Speaking about David Hambardzumyan's recent address, Mamijanyan emphasized that it reflects a state- oriented mindset, an understanding of the common goal-a change of power-and a call to put aside secondary issues and personal ambitions. "I believe this is obvious to our citizens," he emphasized. The deputy also noted that Hambardzumyan's address does not contain any hidden meanings, but rather directly refers to street fighting. "In my opinion, being against impeachment means opposing street fighting, which is an acceptable and effective political tool for the opposition," Mamijanyan concluded.
