Aram I advocates for ensuring  right of return for people of Artsakh 

ArmInfo.Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia met with Ara Puluzyan, representative  of the Central Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) of Artsakh. Alper Balabanian, representative of the Central Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation of Lebanon, also  participated in the meeting.

According to the ARF press service, the representative of the ARF  Central Committee of Artsakh briefed His  Holiness on the work done  being by the Armenians of Artsakh and the challenges they are facing.  He expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Catholicosate of the  Great House of Cilicia in protecting the rights of the Armenians of  Artsakh.

In turn, Aram I emphasized the need to protect the rights of Artsakh  and, in this context, the right of return for the people of Artsakh,  the release of Armenian prisoners of war in Baku, and the protection  of Artsakh's churches and historical monuments in accordance with  international law. Following their meeting with His Holiness, Ara  Puluzian and Alper Balabanian visited the Catholicosate's Holy  Martyrs' Memorial Chapel and laid a wreath in memory of the victims  of Sumgait.
