Armenia, NATO discuss transformation of  Armenian army

ArmInfo.A delegation led by Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defense  - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, visited NATO's Joint Force Command in Brunssum (Netherlands) on February 26.

As reported by the Armenian Defense Ministry's press service, Asryan  held a private meeting with General Ingo Gerhartz, Commander of  NATO's Allied Joint Force Command in Brunssum, followed by an  extended meeting with the delegations. The discussion focused on  issues related to the Armenia-NATO partnership and regional security.

Asryan presented the areas of transformation within the Armenian  Armed Forces, emphasizing the significant role of the Armenia-NATO  partnership in this process.
