


ArmInfo. The Upper Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border has once again closed to all vehicles. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, citing the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for North Ossetia.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, there are also closed and difficult-to-pass roads within the republic itself. Specifically, the roads leading from the Amberd high- mountain weather station to the Amberd Fortress in the Aragatsotn region and to Lake Kari are closed.
The Dilijan, Spitak, and Voskepar turns are closed to trucks with trailers. The Vanadzor-Spitak, Alaverdi- Vanadzor, Dilijan-Vanadzor, Stepanavan-Vanadzor, and roads from the village of Chiva to Zangakatun are also impassable.
The Vardenyats mountain pass and the Gyumri-Bavra highway are difficult for trucks with trailers to navigate. Icy roads are observed in the Shirak, Lori, and Gegharkunik regions. Snow is falling in Aparan and Aragats.
