
ArmInfo. A meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his Polish counterpart, Donald Tusk, took place in Warsaw, as reported by PM's office. First, an official welcoming ceremony was held, followed by a private meeting between the two leaders.
Donald Tusk welcomed the Armenian Prime Minister's official visit, expressing confidence that it would give a new impetus to the development of bilateral relations in all directions.
The Polish Prime Minister emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with Armenia, particularly in economy, infrastructure, security, education, science, and some other areas. Also, Donald Tusk stressed the Polish government's interest in strengthening and deepening cooperation with Armenia, including as a member state of the European Union.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted the importance of continued development of multilateral cooperation with Poland. He highly appreciated Poland's support for institutional reforms in Armenia, and expressed hope that this support will be continuous. In the context of deepening trade and economic ties, Nikol Pashinyan pointed out the importance of promoting economic cooperation. Additionally, the Prime Minister emphasized Poland's role in the process of deepening Armenia-EU cooperation.
The parties discussed several issues related to the implementation of joint programs. They also touched upon the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the implementation of the TRIPP initiative, as well as the further development of Armenia-EU cooperation.
