Iranian media reported a pause in talks with the US in Geneva

ArmInfo. Talks between US and Iranian delegations in Switzerland have been suspended, Iranian media reported.

According to the Mehr news agency, representatives of the two countries are temporarily leaving the negotiating venue and will return later on Thursday to continue discussions on the Iranian nuclear issue.

The third round of talks between the US and Iran is underway in Geneva.

Meanwhile, the United States has sent another squadron of F-35A Lightning II fifth-generation stealth fighters to Europe for subsequent deployment to the Middle East, according to the Military Air Tracking Alliance (MATA).

Fourteen of these fighters are scheduled to arrive at Lakenheath Air Force Base in the UK after their transatlantic flight.

The aircraft departed from Hill Air Force Base in Utah. They are accompanied by eight U.S. Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker and KC-46 Pegasus tanker aircraft.

Thirty F-35A Lightning II fighters are already stationed at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.
