


ArmInfo.Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisogomonyan and Albanian Deputy Minister for European and Foreign Affairs Megi Fino discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between Armenia and Albania in international structures at a meeting in Geneva. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors discussed issues of mutual interest, including the possibility of joint work within the Human Rights Council.
Abisogomonyan briefed his counterpart on the work being carried out in preparation for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, which will be held this year in Yerevan.
The meeting also discussed steps to advance the bilateral agenda between the two countries, including through facilitating political dialogue and intensifying consultations.
