


ArmInfo.At its extraordinary meeting on February 24, the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia approved standard forms of documents required for registering the electoral lists of parties and blocs of parties participating in the National Assembly elections.
The CEC's decision was brought into line with the Electoral Code, which stipulates that for the next National Assembly elections, a party/bloc must approve the first thirty candidates on the electoral list by a decision adopted following the congress.
According to the CEC's announcement, the CEC's digital tools have been brought into line with Resolution No. 3-A "On establishing the procedure for registering parties or blocs of parties and forming an electoral list on the official website of the Central Electoral Commission for the purpose of obtaining a user account for participation in elections." The Central Election Commission also established certificate forms for candidates, authorized representatives, proxies, observers, members of precinct election commissions, support center specialists, members of parliament, community leaders, members of councils of elders, and representatives of the Central Election Commission.
The Commission established estimated costs associated with the preparation and conduct of the regular elections to the National Assembly on June 7, 2026. 4 billion 451 million 688 thousand drams will be allocated for their conduct, of which 1 billion 800 million 296 thousand drams will be allocated for the salaries of members of precinct election commissions.
