


ArmInfo. The property rights of the Meghri community in Armenia's Syunik region have been restored to six land plots totaling approximately 3.15 hectares. The Anti-Corruption Court's decisions, issued at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office to protect state (community) interests, have entered into legal force.
According to the supervisory authority, on December 23, 2025, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the Prosecutor General's Office's petition to protect state (community) interests. The decision invalidated the auctions of May 16, 2016, and June 20, 2016, for land plots of 0.9 hectares, 0.2 hectares, 0.4 hectares, and 0.6 hectares in the Alvank village of Meghri community. By a decision of the Anti-Corruption Court on October 23, 2025, another claim by the Prosecutor General's Office was upheld. This decision invalidated the auction of July 4, 2014, and, consequently, the decision of the head of the Alvank community of July 4, 2014, regarding land plots of 0.2 and 0.5 hectares located in the Alvank community of Syunik region, the purchase and sale agreements concluded between the Alvank community and an individual on July 15, 2014, and the state registration of property rights in the names of two individuals on September 11, 2020. On February 11, 16, and 17, 2026, the Cadastre Committee conducted state registration of the Meghri community's property rights to six land plots located in the Meghri community of Syunik region.
