Road to Upper Lars checkpoint once again closed to trucks

ArmInfo. The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports that, as of the morning of February 18, roads in Armenia are mostly passable.

Roads leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station in  the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and Lake Kari are  closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for vehicles with trailers.

According to information received from the Department of Emergency  Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the  North Ossetian Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of  Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to trucks.
