


ArmInfo. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received a delegation led by Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General for Enlargement and the Eastern Neighborhood. Also present were Adrien Kiraly, Director of Neighborhood and Institution Building for the Eastern Neighborhood in the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, and Ambassador Vasilis Maragos, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia.
According to the press service of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting discussed issues related to the implementation of the Armenia-EU strategic partnership agenda, with a particular emphasis on the importance of fully implementing the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement.
Mher Grigoryan and Gert Jan Koopman also exchanged views on regional connectivity programs and touched upon the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative. The parties also discussed joint work under the Economic and Investment Plan. Ahead of the visit of EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos and the Armenia-EU summit, the parties agreed to continue working to identify possible new cooperation initiatives between Armenia and the EU.
