DAVARO responds to accusations of using foreign technology in the  assembly of its own UAVs

ArmInfo. Claims that the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems developed by DAVARO are  based on technologies provided by other manufacturers don't correspond to reality, as noted in a statement issued by DAVARO. 

The statement reads as follows " In recent days, reports have  circulated in the international press suggesting that the unmanned  aerial vehicle (UAV) systems developed by DAVARO are based on  technologies provided by other manufacturers. We officially state  that such claims do not correspond to reality. The published analyses  are based on inaccurate data that does not reflect the actual  technical specifications of our products. DAVARO carries out the  development of its products exclusively based on its own  technological solutions, relying on Armenian engineering potential,  accumulated expertise, and R&D capabilities. The systems developed by  the company are characterized by high-tech solutions, advanced  architecture, and high efficiency. They are not only comparable to  but, in several key indicators, surpass the systems mentioned in the  reports-both in terms of quality and operational capabilities.

 The company continuously implements:  Technological modernization  programs;  Research and development (R&D) activities;  Expansion  and scaling of production capacities. We consider it necessary to  emphasize that certain similarities in UAV concepts or structural  designs cannot be regarded as imitation or copying. In the field of  aviation and defense technology, universal engineering approaches and  aerodynamic solutions are applied, which are recognized  internationally as effective structural principles.  The strategic  goals of DAVARO are directed exclusively toward enhancing the  technological level of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia  and the national security system, strengthening defense capabilities,  and developing the local military-industrial potential."
