ArmInfo. The Armenian authorities' ignorance of the status of the families of those killed in the explosion at a fuel depot near Stepanakert in 2023 has already resulted in a single mother with two minors being left homeless. Artsakh State Minister Nzhdeh Iskandaryan issued this warning on his Facebook page.
"A single mother with her two minors has been unable to pay rent for two months and is now homeless. Her work barely covers her basic nutritional needs," Iskandaryan clarified. He expressed his conviction that this is a direct consequence of the inaction of the Armenian authorities. "All responsibility for the current situation lies with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the current authorities," the Artsakh State Minister wrote. He also called on anyone who can support this family, and anyone else in a similar difficult situation, to contact him.
Earlier, Iskandaryan reported that thousands of Artsakh families have found themselves in dire straits, deprived of a stable income, social protection, and a sense of security for their future due to the termination of support programs by the Armenian government. He noted that the majority of Artsakh residents are forced to work only to pay rent, while issues of food, medical care, and basic needs remain unmet.
