ArmInfo. Rapid response medical teams (RRMTs) will be established in Armenia. The corresponding resolution was adopted at a regular government meeting on February 12.
"If necessary, a rapid response medical team (RRMT) will be established involving medical personnel from organizations providing medical care and services in the Republic of Armenia, as well as specialists from the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This team will participate not only in providing medical care and services to victims of emergency situations in the Republic of Armenia, but also in international humanitarian missions outside the Republic of Armenia," the document's explanatory note states. It is noted that the group must be self-sufficient, provided with personnel, property and equipment, food, and have everything necessary for deployment anywhere (within the Republic of Armenia or abroad) and the provision of necessary medical assistance and services to affected citizens.
The draft law provides for the establishment of the structure, composition, and list of necessary resources for the activities of the Interregional Humanitarian Task Force (medical drugs, medical products, medical equipment, and logistical support), as well as the procedure for its involvement in international humanitarian missions outside the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
