


ArmInfo. On February 11, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisogomonyan held talks with a delegation from the OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission, praising the cooperation established between the parties in strengthening democratic governance and ensuring credible electoral processes.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the importance of the OSCE/ODIHR mandate and professional methodology in election observation was emphasized.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia reaffirmed the commitment of the Armenian government to holding free, fair, and transparent elections.
They also emphasized Armenia's readiness to host OSCE/ODIHR and other relevant international observer missions to observe the parliamentary elections to be held in June. Abisogomonyan emphasized the importance of the support and professional engagement of the OSCE/ODIHR needs assessment mission in the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia scheduled for June 7, including in the context of assessing the needs for organizing elections, analyzing risks related to cybersecurity and hybrid threats, bringing training and certification systems in line with international standards, as well as in the context of effective coordination of international assistance in conducting elections.
