ArmInfo.Armenia will share its observations on the draft Trump Route (TRIPP) agreement with the United States in the upcoming days, as stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a government session on February 11.
According to him, a feasibility study of the project is currently underway for future evaluation. The cooperation with the American side will also include the necessary technologies for implementing biometric passports in Armenia. It is expected that, by the fall of 2027, holders of such passports will be able to cross Armenia's border without physical contact.
"To make this possible, the United States must provide the relevant technologies, and our American partners have promised to do so," Nikol Pashinyan noted.
